Job description

Do you know all the tricks of the trade? Do you know how to combine creativity with organisation? If you are a natural leader, have experience in tourist entertainment and are looking to work on one of Spain’s most beloved islands, this position is for you.

At Acttiv we are looking for an entertainments manager to join our team in Invisa Ereso. As a manager, you will be in charge of the management of the hotel’s entertainers and will assume the main organisational tasks. By always working together with your area coordinator and the entertainment director of the hotel chain, you will ensure that you meet the quality standards of the hotel and Acttiv.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Launching the programme of daytime and evening activities.
• Organising the schedules of the entertainers (6 people in total)
• Reporting information on entertainment activities to Acttiv.
• Being aware of the needs of your team’s entertainers.
• Attending and receiving training provided by the company.
• Participating in meetings with other entertainment leaders in your area.
• Training and evaluating your team

But it won’t all be bureaucracy. Get ready to bring out the entertainer in you as you take part in the different activities and shows, interacting with guests from all over the world.

What are we asking for?

We don’t need you to be a superhero or have been featured in Forbes magazine, but we are going to ask of you:
• At least two season’s experience as head of entertainment
• Languages: good level of English is essential. Any other language is always welcome
• Valued education (but not essential): studies related to tourist entertainment or tourism.
• Use of Office tools such as Excel, Word or PowerPoint.
• Availability: May – November 2023

For the position of Entertainment Manager, you will also have the following conditions:
• Accommodation: you can use the accommodation offered by the hotel or find your own accommodation. If you decide to use it, €160 per month will be deducted from your salary to pay expenses.
• Meals included in the staff canteen
• 2 days off per week
• Acttiv Contract: Permanent seasonal
• Mutual insurance for accidents at work and civil liability insurance (during working hours).
• Social Security
• 30 (calendar) days holiday per year worked
• Help with registration in the Spanish contribution system
