But what if we also tell you that it is an on-site course that takes place in one of the most paradisiacal places of Spain? We are talking about Lanzarote on the Canary Islands, to be precise at the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

This is the Acttiv course for tourist entertainment

The goal is to turn you into a pro in tourist entertainment. First you will have to complete a theorical part (about 12 hours of training) 5-7 days before travelling to the hotel. The second step (and the best one), will be the face-to-face training at Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort in Lanzarote. Because what could be better than seeing first-hand what your job will be like?

For 10 days you will do everything you can imagine: sports activities, learn how to use the microphone, organize games with children, see the shows from a different perspective… you will even put on the enormous shoes of the hotel mascot to dance the minidisco! All in a sun and beach location with other young people from all over Europe with whom you will have lots of things in common. Who said a job couldn’t be fun?

What requirements do I have to meet to apply for the course?

Before applying to the face-to-face initiation course for tourist entertainment, you should consider some things:

• You must be of legal age (over 18 years old)
• Have a passport from a European Union country or a work permit in Spain
• The course is taught in Spanish, so it is important that you have a medium-high level of Spanish to be able to complete it successfully. Nevertheless, you will be dealing with international guests, so it’s necessary to have a medium level of English to communicate with the guest and your new teammates.

I’ve finished the course and…now what?

After getting your certificate of the Acttiv tourist entertainment course comes the best part: start your professional career! We will offer a job in one of our establishments to all students who have successfully completed the training.

It is very important that you will be able to work for a minimum of 7 months (continuously) from the date you join us.

Please note that the course takes place at the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort, but this doesn’t mean that all the students will stay in its entertainment team. It’s possible that a vacancy in another hotel in the same area may be more suited for you because of your skills, so it will depend entirely on your profile. This is precisely why geographical availability is essential.
