Itinerant entertainer for the Canary Islands

If you want to live and work in the “lucky islands,” you’re in luck. At Acttiv, we are looking to hire an itinerant entertainer to strengthen our entertainment teams in Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, and Lanzarote.

This position is designed for people with experience in tourist entertainment, who are able to quickly adapt to different teams and entertainment programs. Your mission will be to cover specific team needs, such as sick leave, operational reinforcements, or temporary replacements in any of our hotels in the Canary Islands.

Your base accommodation will be in Gran Canaria, from where you will travel to the different hotels whenever necessary. Acttiv will organize and cover the transportation to the destination where you need to provide support.

However, this position is not for everyone: we are looking for a versatile, all-round person with comprehensive entertainment skills and the ability to work across different areas of the program, from miniclub activities to team coordination when required.

As an itinerant entertainer, you will be responsible for performing the duties corresponding to the position you are covering.

And don’t worry: you will always have the support of the area coordinator, who will accompany and guide you in your tasks to ensure that the quality standards of both the hotel and Acttiv are met.

At Acttiv, we are not looking for superheroes, but for people with energy, attitude, and a passion for entertainment.

For this position, it is important that you have:

• Previous experience as a tourist entertainer (minimum of two seasons)

• The ability to adapt to different hotels, teams, and entertainment programs

• A good level of Spanish and English (minimum B2)

• Other languages such as French, German, or Dutch will be a plus

• Availability to travel between islands when necessary

As an itinerant Entertainer at Acttiv, you will enjoy the following conditions:

• Base accommodation in Gran Canaria. A total of €178,26 net per month will be deducted from your salary to pay expenses.

• Transfers paid by Acttiv when you need to cover positions in other hotels or islands.

• Meals included in the staff dining room when working at the hotel.

• Between 1.5 and 2 days off per week.

• Acttiv Contract: permanent seasonal

• Social Security

• Mutual insurance for accidents at work and civil liability insurance (during working hours).

• 30 (calendar) days’ holiday per year worked

• Help with registration in the Spanish contribution system.

Additionally:

• You will receive an additional financial incentive when temporarily covering positions with greater responsibility, such as Chief Entertainer.
