Job description

Located in the heart of the Mediterranean, the Balearic Islands are a top destination worldwide: fantastic beaches, Instagram-worthy sunsets, the perfect combination of partying and tranquillity and mouth-watering cuisine. Acttiv is looking for a Miniclub responsible to take charge of entertaining children. Do you want to make sure your children’s holidays are unforgettable? If you are a responsible person with leadership skills, read on, this offer is for you.

As a miniclub responsible at Acttiv, you will be the leader of, and main player in, the activities. You will be in charge of the team of children’s entertainers as well as on stage.

You will be responsible for:
• Setting up the mini-club’s activity programme and making sure everything goes smoothly: arts and crafts, gymkhanas, pool activities, balloon twisting, etc.
• Reporting everything about the activities of the mini-club to Acttiv
• Organising the schedules of the entertainers and keeping the mini-club in order.
• Being aware of the needs of your team’s entertainers.
• Attending and receiving training provided by the company.
• Training and evaluating your team
Obtain positive reviews to improve the online reputation of the establishment

But it is not all about organisational tasks. You will also have time to join in the activities: you will dance at the mini-disco and get on stage during the shows. You will also practise your language skills as you interact with guests from all over the world: you will welcome children and explain to parents what the day’s activities are.

Of course, you will not be alone, as you will have the support of the entertainment manager and the area coordinator, who will guide and advise you to meet the quality standards of the hotel and Acttiv.

What are we asking for?

You don’t need to memorise all the dialogue from the Paw Patrol or the Harry Potter films.

To be part of our team, you only need:
• Previous experience of at least one season as a mini-club leader or 3 seasons as an entertainer in a mini-club.
• Excellent level of Spanish and English. We also value German, French and Dutch.
• Valued education (but not essential): studies related to tourist entertainment or teaching.
• Use of office tools such as Excel, Word or PowerPoint.
• Availability: February – November 2025

In addition, as a miniclub leader you will enjoy the following conditions:
• Accommodation: you can use the accommodation offered by the hotel or find your own accommodation. If you decide to use it, €160 net per month will be deducted from your salary to pay expenses.
• Meals included in the staff canteen
• 1,5-2 days off per week
• Acttiv Contract: Permanent seasonal
• Mutual insurance for accidents at work and civil liability insurance (during working hours).

• 30 (calendar) days holiday per year worked
• Help with registration in the Spanish contribution system.
